Sunday stay-home!

I woke up so late this morning! At 1115am!! Far too late to my liking. :( No choice, slept at 330am last night only. I cleared lots of stuff in my bag and read some mails, packed some stuff. Watched a documentary on BBC news 'Reporters' which talked about the crisis in Zimbabwe right now. Robert Mugabe totally sucks man. U can read more about this man on this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Mugabe The people are suffering right now and it's due to his stupid policies. I really take my hats off the program producers and reporter who went into Zimbabwe and even secured exclusive footage from locals despite the risks involved. That is what I call professionalism in journalism. To report the truth and let the world knows what's going on in spite of the dangers and risks.

Late afternoon: 5pm. Rained heavily again. A passing shower which was very heavy but soon stopped after half an hour. I went running at 6.07pm. It was a good run. I started out slow and suffered from a stitch in the right abdominal area which migrated to the left and then eventually subsided. I ran through 'GH' and then towards Jurong and back all the way straight beside the road that led from Jurong to Bt Batok and then to CCK. Wanted very much to run on long straight stretchs, hence I chose not to run through 'GH'. When I arrived back at the starting point, it was already 7.30pm. I still felt strong and could run more. Why not? I ran one more round around the estate and did a 1hr 33min run in all. Still feeling good at the end. Hah. Calves aching a bit, but could certainly still hang on. Cool. I love running.

Along the stretches, there were times when my brain was just point blank, thinking about nothing but just the road ahead. There were times that I would think of the week ahead and plan my days mentally. Which days to run, which says to swim and which days to meet friends. Also think about the Xmas gathering next week with my dear judokas. Then also about the D&D last night, about work... About sgrunners... abt the new year...

Things I hope to get done in 2006:
1) Do my part-time degree
2) Take my driving lessons
3) Take my diving course (again)
4) Buy a new mountain bike!
5) Learn my Japanese/Malay (hopeless me... :p)
6) Take up roller blading!

The 1st 4 would cost me a bomb. Argh. (4) & (5) have to depend on my discipline. Besides running and swimming, I ought to do some otehr sports as well. Those that I can interact with others. Mmm...

I finished 4 sets of F/C!!! Happy... I felt so good today. Since I had the strength to push myself, why not? And I increase the number of times for the heavy log to 20 instead of the usual 15. Took 27mins in all only.

1hr 33min of run. 27min of F/C. Totalled 2 hours of workout in all. I was damn thristy after that! Whoa! Had my fruits and yoghurt as usual. Dragon fruit, banana, papaya, and water melon.
Yummy.

Going to sleep already. Will write more on D&D tomorrow.
