Wisdom tooth extraction on the way!
It's been a busy week. I was on the 8-530pm shift last week from Monday to Friday, with Saturday off. However, it was so busy at 'A' corridor from Monday to Wednesday that I was so worn out by mid-week. I have been putting in lots of time for my work-outs as well and by the time I get home each night, I simply just need to unwind.
I went for a swim after work just now. It was a rather short day at work from 8-430pm. And I am going to be on MC from tomorrow onwards! For a total of 5 days in a row. That would mean my whole week would be free from work! Haha. Well, that would mean some pain as well as I'm going to National Dental Centre to extract my wisdom tooth tomorrow! The surgery is scheduled at 9am and I got to arrive at about 0845. Never thought that this day would come. I always pray that my wisdom teeth would never come out. Who needs them anyway? They are simply extra molars that only cause pain and money. Argh. Gum infection in the lower left last month(just before NB Real Run), went for an x-ray and dentist recommended pulling them out! There is a 'pocket' formed between the last molar and the gum where plague can form easily. Since u would never know when the 'pocket' would be formed, only when the plague accumulates and results in an infection, only then would u know that damned tooth is coming out.
I have been faithfully flossing my teeth once every 2 nights. I have sought advice from friends and colleagues who have done theirs. 'Once and for all' seems to be the common idea here. Yeah, get it out and get over it. The pain? Only temporary and u gotta get 5 days' MC... Haha. I'm certainly looking forward to that! My tired body really needs a break to rejuvenate itself. There's so much I can do at home for the next few days!
However, I have to lay off from running and swimming for the week also! :( Gee. Will hope to resume asap. Body would not feel good not getting its limbs and trunks moving.
I have no feelings about the surgery tomorrow. I am just treating it as another procedure. Well, I would certainly not behave like this last time. When? Maybe a few years ago? Right now, I have grown up. I have learnt not to worry about issues in the future as there's so many things I need to be concerned with at the moment! Take things as they come. Just hoping I can eat as normal soon after the op.

Just thought I want to add this in. I met a very rude and idiotic swimmer at Delta just now. Argh. He thinks he occupies that lane is it?! I have been swimming in that lane for the past 1 hours and he just started swimming there and did not even bother to give way to me when we were approaching each other! Argh! I was already warming down doing my breaststrokes and could see him head on. He kicked and drew his arms with such brute strength that if u were to be kicked by him, it would hurt for sure! Not a relaxed swimmer, for sure. Sucker. And I have to give way to him! What a 'GENTLEMAN'! Pui. There were times when I kicked his sole and his fingers brushed my knee and his feet almost kicked me! What a L-O-S-E-R! Cannot stand such EGO man. This one is not even ego. He's simply downright RUDE. Just like the 2 old fogeys at the pool every Monday who are so inconsiderate. Ugly Singaporeans. Pui.
Delta would be such a nice place without them.

Not quite. Just think he's a loser. :p
